Harmony Pets Retreat is not a facility but a luxury, all-day field trip for dogs to places like Block House Point River Park, the C & O Canal, Cabin John Park, Clopper Lake, Seneca Creek, open fields, horse trails, and rock scrambles. Each full-day retreat is tailored to the physical health and emotional needs of your dog. Dogs on retreat return home groomed, massaged, exercised, trained with new skills and experiences per your request, socialized, fed and loved. Retreats are fun for your dog and promote their physical and mental well-being. Weather is not usually a barrier to Retreats, and dogs are always kept happy and comfortable.  

Full-day Harmony Retreats are balanced to ensure exercise, exploration, rest, grooming and socialization, good nutrition, play, comfort, learning and emotional growth. Your dog will come home happy and rested, eager to thank you for a wonderful adventure. Every full-day Harmony Retreat includes local round trip shuttle to and from the dog’s home, park and waterfront excursions, seasonal swimming, wholesome, gourmet meals, positive training according to your specifications, as well as all of the treatments listed as Pure Essential in the Spa Menu catalog.

All dogs are required to pass an evaluation before making a Retreat reservation. Any dog who has not gone on Retreat for 90 days must complete another evaluation. All dogs must be spayed or neutered and current on vaccines, including bordetella (kennel cough).
